[ Kabru only suggested that in teasing, but as a people pleaser it's actually nice that someone else is offering to pay for once. He usually ends up spending way more than he needs to entertaining people, and mama's money can only get him so far. ]
You're so good to me. [ Kabru does appreciate it, and he shows that by reaching out to caress the other man idly by his cheek. ]

[ not the chili at chili’s… but fair enough.. whatever Beowulf orders, it’s a complicated order, and yeah, it’s a lot of food too. He’s not so particular about his diet since retiring, but he’s grown accustomed to eating a lot of high calorie and protein meals. It definitely is some sort of hamburger for the main entree, along with complex carbs.
The gentle touch in his face is appreciated, but he doesn’t verbalize it; he only smiles.
As they eat, he can’t help but ask before he takes his first bite. ]

[ With the food in front of him, Kabru eats very politely. He isn't particularly hungry and he knows he can just pawn off what he can't finish on the other man. Plus, now that he thinks about it, it actually isn't such a good idea to eat greasy food before having what will probably be anal sex.
